The Toolkit for AOD Family Work is a collection of selected resources including screening tools, questionnaires, worksheets, and utility practice tools gathered from the sector, research and professional bodies.
Each tool was chosen by the Family Focus Project Team for its relevance to both clinicians and clients of the EDAS Family Service.The Toolkit is useful for:
üAOD Family Workers as an extra resource in the family therapy toolbox üAOD Clinicians to support family inclusive practices.

An Introduction to Working with Alcohol and Other Drug Issues
This manual provides an accessible introduction to core themes of alcohol and other drug work as well as practical strategies that may be useful in working with these issues.
Getting Out Of It: How to Cut Down or Quit Cannibis
This workbook presents a practical, step-by-step approach to cutting down or quitting cannabis. The resource may be used alone or as part of other counselling; if the workbook does not help you to change your cannabis use, we suggest to speak to an experienced professional about your individual needs.
The Peers for Prevention manual presents three training programs that were developed to provide interested community members with relevant information on substance use and community resources in responding to community needs. The manual consists of a four session program for parents, a four session program for young people and a single session on holding a safer party.
